Each MetaStone brings compassion but for some Stones that is their totality.

Unlike other MetaStores (which must be bonded by their holder to a date to be fully revealed) Compassion Stones show their true form and rarity as they appear enabling you to clearly see what you are bidding on. All revenue generated by them goes to the MetaStone DAO's Compassion Treasury to support charities around the world.

METASTONE 00001 : THE DRAGON STONE

The Dragon Stone, the first ever MetaStone to appear, will be auctioned for charity on 10th February to celebrate the start of the lunar year of the Dragon. This extremely rare MetaStone embodies the colors of the auspicious Wood Dragon whose year it will be and whose date the Stone is bound to. All proceeds from the auction will go to the MetaStones DAO's Compassion Treasury. This treasury allocates all its funds to charities as chosen by the members of the MetaStone DAO.

AUCTION STARTS 10th FEBRUARY 2024

This unique auction will also see nine losing bids receive a free random StoneKeeper for their commitment. These first ten Artefacts, The Dragon Stone and the Nine, will all continue to support the DAO's Compassion Treasury with all royalties generated by them going to the treasury in perpetuity.

Future Stones

Compassion is at the heart of Daoism and the MetaStone DAO and more Compassion Stones will be revealed over time and generate funds to help specific charities and organizations. As the Dragon Stone reflects the colors of the Wood Dragon other Compassion Stones will reflect the areas and organisations they are trying to help and are often bound to dates of great relevance.
